After nearly a full night of web surfing I couldn’t bring myself to cook a proper breakfast. Behold my sugar laden meal – a custard donut coated with powdered sugar and a caramel chai drink. The hot liquid brought comfort to my stomach and I would not be surprised if I added a few pounds just by looking at the donut.

3rd September 2008
I picked a few things at the grocery store today.
From left to right:
-My stir-fried vegetable balls in garlic sauce and fried rice dinner. It came with hot and sour soup which tasted nasty.
-Lavender scented tissue paper.
-Camel milk and cat food for Harrison (he loves camel milk and it doesn’t give him runny bowels)
-Toasted oats for quick breakfasts or snacking

This is my mug at I use at work. I bought it on sale at The One. I like it because it has 2 of my favorite things – cats and the color blue. I don’t drink coffee much but I make it a point to drink water as often as I can. I like chai too and every once in a while I go to the cafeteria and fill my mug with it. I used to give my mug for washing to the kitchen steward but now I just wash it by myself.

His name is Harrison. My surrogate son. He wakes me up without fail every morning, long before my alarm goes off. Sometimes I pretend to be asleep and watch him under semi-closed eyes on how he taps the side of my face with his paw or how he leans in and licks my nose. I love this cat immensely. He makes me happy every single day.

An Attempt to Resume Blogging
The last time I blogged was last year when I joyously wrote about the adoption of Rodney and Stella (subsequently christened by their new mom as Pucci and Sushi). Since then, a lot of noteworthy thigs have happened in my life and happened all in a blur so I didn’t really have the time or inclination to sit down and write about it. I was too busy living. Anyway, since I find it useful to record events in my life (as I’m prone to forget them), I’m going to resume blogging.
